FAITH & VALUES

Butler Christ CommunityGreetings friends. We’ve made it into a brand New Year, so let’s start out right! If one of your resolutions was to attend church this year I know the perfect place for you. Butler Christ Community Church welcomes you.

LIFE IN THE COLE BIN

By Burton W. Cole Among the greatest masters of camouflage in nature are the chameleon, the octopus and anything left on the stairs. The chameleon can change colors. The octopus not only changes colors, but textures as well.Stuff left on the stairs simply turns invisible. It must.

FAITH & VALUES

Blanket CreekThe message “Have You Been Selected” was from Matthew 4:12-15. Jesus is selecting His disciples. He chose fishermen, but now they would become Fishers of Men. What has God selected for you to do for Him.

FAITH & VALUES

(Due to early press for the previous week’s edition, some churches may include two articles.) Butler Christ Community(11/25) • Greetings friends. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. You know the old saying, "Don’t sweat the small stuff?" That’s exactly the way Christians should look at life.

LIFE IN THE COLE BIN

By Burton W. Cole “I would agree with you,” my former friend said, “but then we’d both be wrong.”“This is why I talk to myself so much,” I shot back.

FAITH & VALUES

Blanket CreekWe had a packed house this week. Lots of visitors with families. Scripture Matthew 3:13-17 “The Baptism of Jesus,” was selected as we started the service with the baptism of Kyle Florer. We thank God for him and need to walk alongside him in this new journey.

FAITH & VALUES

Blanket CreekIt was an exciting day when the Holy Spirit lead Kyle Florer to go forward and accept Jesus Christ as his Savior asking to be baptize in His name and become a part of the Blanket Creek family.

LIFE IN THE COLE BIN

By Burton W. Cole I tugged the weighted blanket tightly across my shivering shoulders. If I could figure out how to toss another log onto the electric fireplace, I would.I reread the articles. Nope, it hadn’t been the cold-induced hallucination of a numbed brain.
