I was at the VA medical center in Cincinnati, Ohio to receive some routine examinations.  While there I noticed aflyer that should be of interest to all veterans. I recite the text of the flyer.
“The Cincinnati VA is proud to announce that we are now vaccinating ALL Veterans for COVID-19, PLUS their spouses and their caregivers as part of the SAVE LIVES Act.
“If you served, you are eligible, even if you’ve never used VA Healthcare before.  Veterans who are in the VA Healthcare system may call 513-861-3100 extension 6468 for information”.
I called that number and received courteous treatment.
For a veteran who is not in the system, you will
need to call eligibility at 513-861-3100 (ask to be connected to eligibility) so you can essentially prove you are a veteran.
A copy of the veteran’s DD-214 would be helpful.
For sometime I have received excellent treatment from the VA medical system. I would be joyful to talk to any veteran concerning my experiences with the VA.
    My number is 859-951-1131.
