William Russell “Bill” Fryer, 84, of Cincinnati, OH, formerly of Falmouth, KY, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Born on October 3, 1939, he was the son of the late Russell and Evelyn Taylor Fryer. A 1958 Falmouth High School graduate and always “young at heart,” Bill loved to laugh and make memories with his family and friends. He could capture an audience with outrageous stories of his “real-life” antics and experiences.  On May 22, 1965, he married Sylvia Elaine Barger Fryer, and his dear wife of 51 years preceded him in death on April 17, 2017.

In 1971, Bill founded SBDP (Small Business Data Processing), and for over 50 years, he creatively assisted businesses in the Greater Cincinnati area, earning the trust of his many clients.

Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Robert Ziemba of Penrose, North Carolina; four grandchildren:  Alexandra (Tapasvi), Nathan (Yaisel), Maxwell (Caroline), and Noah (Dana); his brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Judy Barger, Jr.; and a host of extended family, friends, and customers.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Alanna Carol Fryer on December 6, 2000, and his half-brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Patricia “Pat” Ballinger.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, at the Memorial Mausoleum in Spring Grove Cemetery with Kevin Barnard officiating and special remembrances by Suzanne Ziemba and Doug Sandhage.  Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. preceding the service.

Interment will take place in the Spring Grove Cemetery with military honors by the Hardin-Browning Post #109.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society:  P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741, https://donate.cancer.org.
