    Reba Fern Gillespie Martin, 83, of Falmouth, KY died peacefully at home on Friday, January 8, 2021. Reba was born in Falmouth on April 18, 1937 to the late Theodore and Grace Bishop Gillespie. She worked for the Falmouth Company (sewing factory), Dr. Scholl’s shoe factory, and as a cook for the Pendleton County School system and St. Luke Hospital in Falmouth. Reba also spent many years working alongside her family as they sharecropped on various tobacco and dairy farms throughout the county. She was well-known for her country cooking. She retired from St. Luke and enjoyed spending time in Florida and Kentucky. She loved visiting with friends at the Pendleton Senior Center. Reba and her sisters were well-known in the community and loved shopping, playing cards, and traveling together.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Martin; brother, Theodore Gillespie, Jr; sisters, Dorothy Gillespie, Deloris Taravella, Joyce Harmon, and Beverly Sue Buckner; and her grandson, Grayson Chance Wolfe.
    She leaves behind her children, Vickie Wolfe of Corinth, KY, Tony (Mallory) Wolfe of Butler, KY, David (Lisa) Mattox of Waddy, KY, and Dan (Lisa) Mattox of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Joanna Dalton, Shelly (Nolan) Bean, Austin Wolfe, Holden Wolfe, Haven Wolfe, Crystal Whitworth, Logan Mattox, Lincoln Mattox, Calvin Mattox, Bret Mattox, Noah Mattox, and Holly Mattox; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
