    Nellie Jane Cooper Clos, 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2020, at the Harrison Memorial Hospital. She was born on Tuesday October 31, 1933, on Rigg Street in Falmouth to Elbert and Helen Routte Cooper. She married Richard Wayne Clos on January 7, 1961.
    Nellie was the oldest member of the Chapel of Praise Church both in age and longevity and looked forward to being in church services with her children and grandchildren and her church family.
    She retired from Wyatt’s Super Value in 1996 in the bakery as a donut maker and often reminisced about her days working there with her many friends, especially her two close friends Dottie Alsip and Polly Dunn.
    Surviving are children Rick and Kevin Clos and Pamela Ammerman, all of Falmouth, Stephen Clos of North Carolina, Rodney Clos of Lakeland Florida, and Debi Thompson of Goshen, Ohio; brothers Charles Cooper of Berry, Richard Cooper of Falmouth; sisters Joyce Toliver of Falmouth and Sandra Toomey of Crittenden. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren,  great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Clos, daughters Kristy Lynn Lawson, Donna Sue Clos, Tammy Faye Clos Stewart, son Monte Wayne Clos and sister Ruby Mae Cole.
    Visitation will be held 11-1 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at the Peoples Funeral Home in Falmouth. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1 p.m., also at the funeral home.
    Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery in Falmouth.
    In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial contributions be made to the Chapel of Praise Church to purchase Bibles through the Gideon’s ministry.
