Melvin "Bert" Wright, 84

    Melvin “Bert” Wright, 84, of Falmouth, KY, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at his home.  He was born on December 20, 1935, son of the late Floyd and Flora Cason Wright.  
    Melvin was a lifelong barn builder and farmer.  He was a member of the Turner Ridge Baptist Church.  
    Along with his parents, Melvin is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Steve Wood; brothers:  Harold, Donald, Randall, Leonard, Ralph, Alva Lee, and J.W. Wright; sisters:  June Kwiatowski, Josie Stair, Juanita King, Thelma Agopian and Betty Ammerman.
    Survivors include Reta Wolfe Wright, his wife of 65 years; daughters Pam (Greg) Courtney of Berry, Andrea (James) Smith of Falmouth, Dawn Wood of Falmouth, Lori Burks of Cold Spring, and Amy (Roger) Lawson of Butler; a son, Dane (Amy) of Bellevue; and a brother, Larry Wright of Falmouth.  He is also survived by grandchildren Cameron Courtney, Nathan Courtney, Craig Smith, Corey Smith, Mason Wood, Grant Eshman, Clay Eshman, Ryan McElfresh, Hannah Courtney, Chesla Norton, Casey Croley, Megan Ramsey, Brianna Fields, and Madilyn Lawson and 19 great grandchildren.
    Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  
    Interment will take place in the Turner Ridge Cemetery, Pendleton County.
