    Loretta Morris Simpson, 87, of Falmouth passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 at the Cedar Ridge Nursing Home in Cynthiana, KY.  She was born on July 10, 1933 to the late Batson and Cassie Donahue Morris. On April 17, 1954 she would marry her husband Ralph Simpson and the two would spend the next 47 years together, building a family and creating many memories, before his passing on September 25, 2001.
    Loretta was a very active member of the Blanket Creek Baptist Church and served in numerous roles there. She was the ACTEENS leader, Sunday School teacher for 45 years, VBS director, WMU Director, Director of the WMU Association and went on four mission trips to India and one mission trip to Honduras, all trips while in her 70s. She was also active in her community as a Member of the Hardin Browning Post #109 Ladies Auxiliary, Member of the Republican Party, Woodmen of the World Lodge Member, and 40+ years as a member of the Extension Homemakers Karen Davis Club, even serving as the County President at one time.  
    Surviving her passing are her children  Gary (Darlene) Simpson, Michael (Sue) Simpson, and Jeffrey (Annie) Simpson, all of Falmouth; grandchildren Trisha (Louis) Huertos; Tammy (Lonnie) Miller, Kim Class, Ralph (Stacey) Class, Chris Kerlin, Kathy Dawson, Lesha (Jake) Munich, and Amanda Fitzpatrick; 17 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren, and one more arriving in March, and several nieces and nephews.  
    She was preceded in death by her brother Leonard Morris and her sister Lodema Jones.  
    Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth  with Bro. Mike Jones, officiant.
    Interment took place at the Riverside Cemetery in Falmouth.  
    Serving as pallbearers were Gary Simpson, Michael Simpson, Jeffrey Simpson, Chris Kerlin, Ralph Class and Bob Jones. Honorary pallbearers were Lonnie Miller, David Fields, Roger Fields, Rusty Fields, Trish Huertos, Tammy Miller, and Kim Class.
