LENA CASWELL
Lena Florence Caswell, 76, of Greenfield, IN, formerly of Pendleton County, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at her home. She was born in Bracken County, KY on July 23, 1946, daughter of the late Virgil and Cornelia “Granny” Taylor Florence. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Larry and Cleon Florence and sister Donna Allender.
Lena was a member of Falmouth Christian Church and Central Christian Church in Iowa. She was a part of the Red Hat Society, loved to cook, travel, and spend time with her family and close friends.
She is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Wes Peters) Caswell, Troy (Patty) Caswell, and Jennifer Caswell; her grandchildren who called her “Cracker”, Trent (Elizabeth) Caswell, Taylor (Trae) Huffman, Mattison and Maycie Caswell; great-grandchildren Alydia, Harper Grace, Berkley Kate, and Hank; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
