Laura Jean Pangburn, 89

    Laura Jean Pangburn, 89, of Butler, passed away Friday, September 11, 2020, at her home. She was born in Pendleton County on April 27, 1931, daughter of the late Floyd “Cateye” and Velma Mae Fardo Pangburn.
    In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her brother Bill Pangburn. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
     Jean was a member of Second Twelve Mile Baptist Church, Mt Auburn Homemakers and Northern Pendleton Fire Dept. Auxiliary. She retired after many years at Gibson Greeting Cards.
     Visitation will be held from 4:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at the Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral services will immediately follow at 7 p.m., also at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 16, at the Peach Grove Cemetery.
