GERALDINE CUMMINS
Geraldine “Gerby” Ramsey Cummins, 87, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Ohio Valley Manor Nursing Center where she was a resident.
Born on July 31, 1936, in Bracken County, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Nicy Teegarden Ramsey. She was married to Elmer Ray Cummins in 1956 and they enjoyed 46 years together before his death on July 4, 2002. Geraldine was a homemaker spending many years working on the family farm. She was a Mary Kay sales representative and a member of the Cemetery Chapel Christian Church, Lenoxburg, KY.
She is survived by her son, Randy Cummins of Aberdeen, OH; grandchildren: Lauren Cummins of Brooksville, KY, Branden Cummins of Lenoxburg, KY, Jordyn Flora of Germantown, KY; great-grandchildren Khaleeq and Amara; brother Melvin (Hazel) Ramsey of Milford, KY; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son Shannon Ray Cummins; four sisters: Nannie Jenkins, Dorothy Clifford, Kathleen Barnard, Edna Lou Ramsey; and four brothers: Harry Ramsey, Earl Junior Ramsey, Eugene Ramsey, Raymond Ramsey.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 6th at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth with Gary Figgins officiating. Visitation preceded the service.
Interment took place at Lenoxburg Cemetery, Lenoxburg KY.
