Garnet Marshall, 76

Garnet Marshall, 76, of Falmouth, KY, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Edgewood.  She was born in Alexandria, KY on May 27, 1947, daughter of the late Robert and Laura Whitaker Utz.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings Lester and David Utz, Bertha Miller, Leona Tillet and Norma Meyers.

Garnett was a retired Teachers Aide at Southern Elementary. She enjoyed camping, working in her flowers and her beloved “devil cat”, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband Gary Marshall; daughter Natasha (Tony) Thompson; son Damian (Mandy) Marshall; brother Robert Utz; sister Marcella Bonar Cole; grandchildren Garret Thompson, Koston, Kyler, and Korynn Marshall, Isabella Marshall, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A Memorial Service will be held from 10 a.m. to1 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Pendleton County Schools.
