Elizabeth Myra Fullwood Ramsey, 66, of Alexandria, KY, formerly of Pendleton County, passed away Feb. 3 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood.  

She was born on Jun. 25, 1957 in Luanshya, Zambia to the late Dr. Peter and Myra Gerber Fullwood. Elizabeth worked as a pharmacy technician for Kroger, and previously worked at Northern Elementary and CVS in Falmouth. She was a UK basketball and NASCAR fan, but most of all loved her family and enjoyed watching her grandkids’ sporting events.  

On Jun. 7, 1975, Elizabeth married Clayton Foster Ramsey, and he preceded her in death in 2011.

Elizabeth is survived by her sons:  Christopher Ramsey (Michelle Bonar), Peter Ramsey, and Clayton Ramsey, Jr. (Missy); her grandchildren Nathan, Braden, Derek, Kyle, Gary (Heather), Kim, Josie, and Jacob; as well as her great-grandchildren Houston, Eva, and Lydia. 

She is also survived by her brothers Mark (Jackie) Fullwood and Pete (Karla) Fullwood; her co-workers and special friends Alessandra Horejon, Olivia Klette, and Angela Dean; daughter-in-law Sheila Ramsey; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog “Pepper”.

Visitation was held on Feb. 10 at the Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth. 

Interment took place at Riverside Cemetery.  

Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society of Northern Kentucky to help with the new animal shelter in Pendleton County.
