Charles Donald “Don” Mcclanahan, 86

    Charles Donald “Don” McClanahan, 86, of Falmouth, KY passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at his home. Don was born in Falmouth, KY on March 5, 1934, son of the late Albert “Buck” William McClanahan, the late Helen Ruth Cummins McClanahan Browning and the late John Henry Browning.
    Don was a veteran of the Unites States Army, retired from the Kentucky State Highway Department and also worked 25 years at Fullers Manufacturer in Falmouth.
    In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Mae Johnson McClanahan, sister Dorothy Jean McClanahan Cox, niece Kelly Jean Cox and nephew Edward “Eddie” Lee Cox.
    Survivors include his daughter, Donna (the late Randy) Moreland, sons Steve (Theresa) McClanahan, Keith (Renee) McClanahan, grandchildren Melissa McClanahan, Ryan McClanahan, Kyla Moreland, Brady Moreland, Laura McClanahan, Julia McClanahan, great grandson James Skinner, niece Rhonda Gaye Cox Wright, and nephew Larry Wayne Cox.
    Due to the mandates set forth by the governor, arrangements will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
    Interment, under full military honors will be held in the Riverside Cemetery.
    Memorials, if desired, are suggested to the American Legion Post 109.
