ASHER SAYLOR
Asher Lee Saylor, 79, of Falmouth, KY, passed away at his home on Sunday, July 30, 2023.
He was born on July 29, 1944 to the late Homer and Francis Smith Saylor. On October 4, 1980 he married Linda Taylor Asher, and his dear wife survives his passing. Asher proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserve, and was a very talented brick-layer. He loved trips to Wal-Mart and was a big fan of UK basketball and Bengals football. Most of all, Asher loved spending time with his family and was always the life of the party. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Along with his wife Linda, Asher is survived by his children: Paul Saylor, Thomas Saylor, and Eddie Saylor; his brother Homer Saylor, Jr.; his granddaughter Brittany Saylor; Nephews Donnie White and Michael (Alissa) Taylor; special family friends Terrie Buntin and Bobby (Carrie) Robbins; brother-in-law Gene (Glenna) Taylor; sister-in-law Etta(David) Cole, and brother-in-law Benny Taylor. Asher is also survived by numerous grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
Asher was preceded in death by his sons Brad Saylor and Joe Saylor; his brother Paul Saylor; and his sister Gayle Williams.
A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to Woodhead Funeral Home to help offset funeral costs.
