Honey Hill Farm Mobile Petting Zoo and Pony Rides has been in the county for over 20 years.
“The petting zoo was started by Sally Powell in the late 90s,” Rob Powell, Sally’s son and a team member to the business, tells the Falmouth Outlook.
The mobile zoo travels from Pendleton County to venues across Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and West Virginia. During POP on Saturday, June 19, a representation of its petting zoo will be at the Pendleton County Fairgrounds from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. for children and families to enjoy, free of charge.
“Visitors to the petting zoo will enjoy highly interactive, friendly animals that they can learn about and feed,” Powell explains.
“We will have chickens, ducks, rabbits, sheep, goats, an alpaca, a pony and a miniature horse or donkey.”
The team has been  complimented over the years by its patrons for its friendliness, professionalism and its variety of animals. Pendleton County has a unique opportunity to experience on June 19 what many across the region have experienced. Stop by to see, feed, pet, and learn about the animals Honey Hill provides.
