Bessie J. Taylor, 91, of Lexington, KY passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021 at St Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was born in Bracken Co., KY on October 24, 1929, daughter to the late Joseph G. and Leora Monson Jett.
In addition to her parents, Bessie is preceded in death by her husband Milton Taylor, Sr.; and sisters Harriet Highothom and Mary Napier.
Bessie was a member of Elkhorn Christian Church in Lexington and past member of Fairview Christian Church in Johnsville.
Survivors include her children Milton (Rita) Taylor Jr., Connie (Larry) Joyce, Mary Jo Monaghan, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 2, at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler.
Interment took place in Johnsville Cemetery.
