Sam Verst honored by Ladycats

    Prior to the start of the Pendleton County Ladycats fastpitch softball game versus Harrison County on May 25, former Ladycat standout and 2020 grad Samantha Verst was recognized for her outstanding career. Verst was presented with a commemorate jersey by head coach Rob Coffey.
    She played six seasons as a Ladycat beginning in the sixth grade and captained the program to a district and regional title in 2019 and an appearance in the final eight at state tournament play in Lexington.
