    James William Haley, 88, of Falmouth, KY, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021, at his home.   Born on May 8, 1933 in Bracken County, KY, he was the son of the late Charles Franklin “Shorty” and Gladys McKee Haley.  On March 21, 1958, he married Margaret Chalfant Haley, and his dear wife and caregiver survives his passing.  
    In addition to his wife of 63 years, Margaret, he is survived by two daughters: Kim Wolfe (Rick) of Hobe Sound, FL and Angie Flaugher (Tim) of Falmouth, KY; four grandchildren:  Bryan Wolfe (Toni Otero), Lance Wolfe (Micaela), Justin Flaugher, and Olivia Flaugher; three great grandchildren:  Kadin Wolfe, Taylor Wolfe, and Kira Wolfe; two sisters:  Marjorie Mingua and Wilma Jean Smith, both of Johnsville, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
    He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Donald Paul Smith, and his mother-in-law, Serena Browning Chalfant.
    Jim worked for the United States Postal Service in Cincinnati, OH for 34 ½ years.  After his retirement, he drove a school bus for the Pendleton County School System for 10 years.  Jim was a U.S. Army veteran, Past President and a member of Woodmen of the World Chapter #611, Past Master and member of the Masonic Lodge #222 F & A M in Falmouth, a member of the Hardin-Browning Post #109, a former volunteer fire fighter with the Falmouth Fire Department for 25 years, and a member of the Falmouth Christian Church.  Jim loved spending time with family and friends camping, square dancing, boating, and enjoying the Supper Table Gang at Howard’s.  
    Funeral services were held on Friday, May 21, 2021, at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, with Bro. Gary Figgins officiating. Special music was shared by Barbara Browning.  Serving as pallbearers were Bryan Wolfe, Justin Flaugher, Wade Smith,  Nathan Gilbert, Ray Riley, Michael Jefferson, Josh Clark, and Caleb Sudlow.  The honorary pallbearers were Rick Wolfe, Tim Flaugher,  Lance Wolfe, Tom Chalfant, Tim Bailey, Jim Sharp, and Vaden McClanahan.   Interment with full military honors by the Hardin-Browning Post #109  took place in the Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth.  Memorials are suggested to the Hardin-Browning Post #109 or the Riverside Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.woodheadfuneralhome.com.
