Hopkins
Bourbon Hopkins, 98, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the River Valley Nursing Home. She was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky on March 31, 1922, daughter of the late James H. and Lula Pearl Adams James.
Bourbon was a member of the Butler Baptist Church and always said she loved the Lord with all her heart.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband Charles Hopkins and siblings Jesse, Paul, Geneva James and Barbara Utz.
Survivors include sons David (Deb) Hopkins, Tommy (Martha) Hopkins, Tim (Sandy) Hopkins, daughter Brenda (Gerald) McElfresh, brother Harry James, nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
A private service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Butler Baptist Church POB 158 Butler, KY 41006 or to the charity of your choice.
