Barnes new venture offers ‘a little bit of everything’
A fantastic local business plans to revitalize itself in a brand-new way to better serve the citizens of Falmouth.
Barnes Hardware has been a staple to the local community in providing quality customer service and a variety of home improvement products at comparable prices. Whether it be large or small, the family-owned and operated business has been consistently dedicated to providing the best hometown service.
The front entrance of the same building to the hardware store is owned by and was previously rented out by Barnes. It is in the process of being converted into a surplus warehouse of sorts.
This new addition will include “a little bit of everything,” such as tools, doors, windows, cabinets, and other items such as children’s toys. Aside from odds and ends, other featured items include antiques, wrought-iron furniture, paint, cleaners, and other home improvement essentials.
The purpose of this expansion is to enlarge the business and move items that might not be selling as much, increasing customer exposure to select items.
It is to be called “Barnes Liquidation Outlet.” Hours of operation will include only weekends for now, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, though customers are welcome to stop in and browse on any day of the week.
The newly stocked outlet is set to open for weekend of March 3-4. Prices are to be highly discounted, and worth your time to stop by and visit.
