    Pauline Ruth Collier, 77, of Butler, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at River Valley Nursing Home. She was born in Rockford, Illinois on February 27, 1944, daughter of the late Paul & Eileen Burdick.
    Pauline was a wife, mother and a fantastic homemaker. She was a member of Plum Creek Christian Church where she loved singing in the choir, participating in women’s Bible studies and her Care Group.  She loved Jesus and being part of his family wherever she lived.  She loved hosting friends and family in her home for Sunday dinners and all kinds of celebrations. She loved taking care of children over the years and was a devoted babysitter for years to Morgan, Spencer and Robert Bay.
    In addition to her parents, Pauline is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ronald Thomas Collier.
    Survivors include daughters Amy (Lenny) Brown, Kristin Carskadon and Jennifer (Victor) Addy; sisters Joyce McClelland, Chris (David) Baynes and brother Lloyd (Linda) Burdick; grandchildren Annie Carskadon and Collier Brown; nieces Emily McClelland, Karen Baynes and nephews Sean McClelland and Brian Baynes.
    A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at Plum Creek Christian Church in Butler at 5:30 pm. Peoples Funeral Home will be caring for the family.
    In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Plum Creek Christian Church.
