The Ladycats finished their week with a district match up against Nicholas County. In a game where both teams struggled early to find the goal, both teams finally started finding the mark.
Cara Stewart was  strong for the Ladycats, but ended up in foul trouble,  hurting the Ladycats offensive game.
The Ladycats found themselves right in the game at the end, but two missed layups and two turnovers later, Nicholas County was able to hold on for the win 44-41
The Ladycats hit a couple of speed bumps early in the week playing 10th Region opponents.
At home, the Ladycats faced Campbell County and found themselves in a hole very quickly. Lady Camel star Kylie Koeninger lit the Ladycats up for 22 points just in the first half. The coaching staff adjusted and went to a box and one defensive scheme that slowed her down and forced her to really work to get the ball. Campbell County adjusted after half by playing Koeninger in the post where she was not as effective. The Ladycat defense held her to just seven points in the second half.
Pendleton County hurt themselves by throwing numerous errant passes. The inability to move the ball on the pass led to quite a few Lady Camel points on transition.
The post players of Saniah Thomas and Cara Stewart combined to score a total of 21 points of the Ladycats total 40 points for the game.
Wednesday night, the Ladycats travelled to Maysville to take on the Lady Saints of St. Patrick.
The Ladycats fell behind early and were down at halftime, but fought back in the second half to briefly take the lead. Following a couple of turnovers, St. Pat regained the lead and held on for the 10 point victory 48-38. For the second game in a row, unforced turnovers really hurt the Ladycats chances.
