    Charles Marion “Punky” Beckett, 75, of Falmouth, KY, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at the Hospice of Cincinnati in Ohio. Born on April 2, 1945 in Cynthiana, KY, he was the son of the late Oren and Goldie Perkins Beckett. On January 30, 1971, he married Joyce Vanlandingham, and his dear wife survives his passing. “Punky” was a farmer, carpenter, blacktopper with Mago, Pendleton County Magistrate for 8 years, member of the U.S. Army Reserves, member of the Hardin-Browning Post #109, member of Southern Hope Church, an antique collector, and the founder and builder of “PUNKYVILLE,” a Pendleton County treasure which celebrates the county’s history and legacy.
    In addition to his wife of 50 years, Joyce, he is survived by children   Cheri Myers (David) of Foster, KY, Amy Hurst (Roger) and  Chris Beckett, both of Falmouth,  and Kristi Meade (Bryan) of Danville, KY; grandchildren  Lydia Larson (Jake), Jonathan Myers, Shelby Meade, Fisher Hurst, Seth Beckett, Dylan Beckett, and Nolan Meade; his brother, Paul Beckett; and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
    He was also predeceased by siblings  Bobby Beckett, Oren Beckett, Jr., Johnny Beckett, Donald Wayne Beckett and Esther Sibble; and his stepmother Mary Hutchinson Beckett.
    Funeral services were held Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, with Bro. Jason Anderson officiating.  
    Interment with full military honors by the Hardin-Browning Post #109 took place in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Pendleton County.
