Knights of Columbus fish fry postponed

    Due to the increased spread of Covid -19 in our county and surrounding areas, the annual Knights of Columbus Fish Fry at St. Francis Xavier Church in Falmouth is postponed.
    The KofC Fish Fry is a popular community event and the primary fundraiser for the organization. Recently the Knights received guidance from the Diocese of Covington that fish fries were permissible as long as they were carry-out service only.
    While much consideration was given to the necessary steps to operate as a carry-out only along with other health precautions, these changes seemed insufficient and not in keeping with the popular hallmarks of this annual event. The safety of the public and volunteers remained the primary concern in informing the decision to postpone.
    The Knights appreciate all of their patrons of the past and let it be known that the event will return as soon as it is safe for everybody
