Virus benches the Ladycats

In a letter put out last week from the Pendleton County Board of Education after COVID-19 protocols the Ladycat Basketball team is going on a pause.
The Ladycats had two games canceled during the pause period, one with Campbell County and another with Dayton.
Coach Jenna O’Hara commented about the situation, “While we are all bummed that we had to put things on pause, we must do what we can to keep everyone safe. I sent messages to some of the girls about games they could watch online during our time off. Hopefully everything goes well and we can get back on the court soon.”
Then, on Friday, we received another letter from the Board of Education informing us that due to a positive test the Ladycat pause will now be extended until January 29. The team can resume activities on January 30. This adds the Robertson County and Bourbon County games to the cancelation list with a hopeful return on January 30 at home against Bellevue.
