Nestled on 300 acres in Paris, Kentucky, the Bourbon County Colonel Charge brought in runners from across the state.  Garrett Jack, senior at PCHS, was the sole runner for the varsity team.  Jack completed the tough 5000 meter course in a time of 19:21.9.  If Garrett continues to improve his time, he will be a runner to watch at regionals.
For the middle school boys, PSMS had three runners place in the top 50. Experienced runner, Klaber Wolfe pulled out a ninth place finish followed by Sam Hodge with a 42nd place finish, and Patrick Patton coming in with a 48th place finish.  Klaber Wolfe finished the 3000 meter course with an impressive time of 13:16.8.  This race has been the biggest race to date with a total of 165 male athletes competing.
Assistant Coach Meredith Patton commented, “We are so proud of the hard work and dedication this team has shown.”
