    Jim Bain 79, of Butler, KY passed away peacefully at St. Elizabeth Medical Hospital on August 3rd, 2020.
    Jim was a proud 1965 graduate of the University of the Cumberlands. He went on to be a School Teacher and School Bus Driver at Campbell County High School for 27 years. Once he retired, he drove a tour bus for a few years with his wife by his side. Jim & Anna enjoyed many wonderful years on their houseboat at Norris Lake surrounded by family and friends. He also enjoyed bass fishing, his classic 1967 Firebird convertible and was an accomplished golfer. Jim also enjoyed woodworking. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Butler United Methodist Church.
    Jim was survived by his loving wife Anna of 57 years. Children; Monica (Darrell) Dennie, and Christi (Michael) Warren. Grandchildren; Derrick (Christine) Dennie and Devin (Chad) Applegate. Great Grandchildren; Harlee Osborne, Brooklyn Applegate and Cason Applegate. Brother, Bill Bain. He was preceded in death by a host of brothers and sisters.
    A private family gathering will take place in the near future. The family appreciates all the thoughts and prayers during this time. Cooper Funeral Home is serving the family.
