    Senior Ladycat Shelby Turner has signed to continue her basketball career at Mount Saint Joe’s in the fall. Turner led the Ladycats  this season to double digit wins.
    Turner was recognized for her hard work by being named Honorable Mention 10th Region Team and  also named to the Enquirer Honorable Mention Team.
    During her career as a Ladycat Turner scored over 1000 points making her only the eighth Ladycat to reach that mark. As well as providing leadership on the floor for her Ladycat team and serving as an extension of Coach O’Hara from the bench.
    When talking about Turner, Coach O’Hara is all smiles, saying, “Even though MSJ was a rival of Thomas More when I played, I am so excited Shelby has decided on going there. I know she will go there and do great things. She has some familiar faces in the freshman class she is looking forward to playing withlike Oldendick from Gallatin and Ratterman from Bellevue. We are looking forward to taking the team to some gamesand supporting Shelby.”
    Turner will be majoring in biomedical science in efforts to become an ultrasound technician while at Mt. St. Joe.
    Turner said of her opportunity,
    “I am really excited to be able to further my academics and basketball career at Mount St. Joseph University.  When I went on a visit and stepped on the campus I knew that it was the college for me. Coach Bear and Abby as well as the team made me feel like I belonged there.”
