The Sheep Dogs help protect the flock in the Pendleton County Sheriff's office

By Carolyn Reid Three or four years ago, David Jardon, member of the Sheep Dog Impact Assistance, went to McGoffin County in Eastern Kentucky to help with flood relief. While he was there, he asked a sheriff's deputy where his medical kit was.

Virginia (Jenny) Fogle Beetz was born in Pendleton County in the Bethel/Greenwood area. She was raised on a farm with her parents, three sisters and two brothers.  After elementary school at Butler, she attended Pendleton Memorial High School.

The Steele Family: generations of service to their country

  By Nila Harris Todd Desmond Steele shares more than a name with an uncle he never knew. An uncle who was killed in action in WW2 after his plane was shot down over Germany. When comparing photos of the two men, one can quickly notice the facial similarities.

Sophomore leadership holds Youth Involvement Summit; county and city leaders participate

The Pendleton County Sophomore Leadership group, led by Michelle Lustenberg, held its annual forum for the purpose of giving and receiving input from the county officials. The goal is collaboration and to give student leaders a taste of community service and connection.

First Responders, Veterans honored by Woodmen Life at annual luncheon

By Hannah Thomas Pendleton County High School’s Academic Team advanced to Governor’s Cup State Competition after coming in first overall at Regional Competition. The quick recall team started the competition in the Pool Play.
