Wellness plan discussed at board meeting

Pendleton County School Board met in regular session on Monday, February, 8, 2021 for the shortest meeting in school board history. The meeting began at 6 p.m. and was finished at 6:13 p.m.
There was no business to attend to, the Pledge of Allegiance, Mission Statement and moment of silence were followed by a guest from the health department, Ms. Stephanie Schlueter.
Schlueter briefly discussed the Pendleton County Community Wellness Coalition/Community Health Improvement Plan for 2020-2024.
The top three priorities listed for needs to be met in the county are Mental Health, Physical Health and Access to Services. A group of people called the community partners are working diligently to find ways to meet these needs.
