In an effort to promote and increase patronage of local businesses, Pendleton County Extension Service is presenting Shop Like a Local BINGO.
“There are so many benefits for shopping locally.  Many consumers do not know that for every $100 you spend at locally owned businesses, $68 will stay in the community. What happens when you spend that same $100 at a national chain? Only $43 stays in the community.  You also help create and maintain jobs, you invested in entrepreneurship, and you make your community a destination. It is a win, win for everyone,” said Kenna Knight of Pendleton County Extension office.
Pick up a BINGO card from Pendleton County Extension Office Facebook page or call them to have one mailed to you. Cards are due back to the extension office by November 20. Prizes will be awarded by a random drawing and will be a gift card to a local business.
