Nashville comes to Pendleton Outdoor Palooza

On July 15, Nashville recording artists Kaitlyn Baker and Joe Lasher will take the stage at the Griffin Center closing out the Pendleton Outdoor Palooza (POP). This duo will perform original songs as well as country hits you know and love. The show starts at 7 p.m. Gates will open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased ahead of the show at http://pendletonpop.comor at gate the day of the show.

Kaitlyn has performed coast to coast, and has opened for Brad Paisley, Tanya Tucker, Craig Morgan, Brett Eldredge, Travis Tritt, Billy Currington, Chase Bryant, Rhonda Vincent, Jim Lauderdale and many others. Notable appearances by Baker include Country Jam Colorado, the Riverbend Festival in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the Young Artist Awards in Los Angeles, California, Findlay Market – Cincinnati Reds Opening Day parade, and “Song of the Mountains,” a nationally syndicated public television concert series. Her newest single titled “Drinkin’ Hour” is out now.

Joe’s music is influenced by a variety of genres ranging from traditional country to gospel and from rock to heavy metal, creating a sound that is all his own. Joe has been actively touring the country since the age of 16, where he is focused on creating a full-sensory show filled with big sound and bright lights giving his audience a reason to unwind and live in the moment. Joe has shared the stage with Tim McGraw, Morgan Wallen, Ashley McBryde, Russell Dickerson, Hardy, Old Dominion, and many others. After signing his first major publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music and KJM Publishing, he has honed in on the true craft of songwriting, which is reflected in his upcoming single release “Drinking Again.”

This concert will close out the evening of the 3rd Annual Pendleton Outdoor Palooza presented by the Pendleton County Tourism Council. POP is a day full of outdoor adventures and activities that are fun for all ages. Most events throughout the day are free and family friendly! Start the day at Kincaid Lake State Park with Yoga in the Park. Go out to Camp Northward and try out the Zipline which is free! Take a tour at the Punkyville Open House. Stop by the Pendleton County Farmer’s Market for hands only CPR training. Enjoy learning about our county’s agricultural past at the Licking Valley Antique Tractor and Farm Machinery Show at the fairgrounds. Test your speed and endurance on a giant inflatable obstacles course.

We will have numerous vendors with crafts and homemade goods and various food trucks.

We are excited to welcome Mimi’s Little Kitchen, Any Style Hot Dog & Catering, That’s Amore Mobile Pizzeria, Lasang Pinoy Filipino Eats, Curbside Sweet Shop, Kona Ice, Rose Hill Farm Winery, Maiden City Brewing, and more. Stick around for a show in the Roaming Dome which is a portable planetarium with NKU Haile Planetarium and then finish the evening at the concert.
