Learn more about our furry friends and how are youth are committed to building a community of strength. Stick around for a Sources of Strength showcase, crafts, activities, snacks, and doggy bags to go. Feel free to bring donations! Items needed include small blankets, toys, soft treats, pig ears, and Fabuloso cleaner. Hosted by PCHS Sources of Strength Peer Leaders and PC Champions.

1 p.m. to 4 p.m. PC Farmers' Market, 20 Fairgrounds Road, Falmouth. Join us for a special Christmas Market at the Pendleton County Farmers' Market. There will be crafts, food, live music and more. Pick up meat, pork, seasonings, jams, honey and more items for your holiday meals! And of course, our elves have been working hard to create the perfect gift-giving items so come by and shop with us!

4-6 p.m. Woodhead Funeral Home, 310 W. Shelby Street. S'more Social. Hosted by the Falmouth Rotary Club. S'mores are $1 each.

5-8 p.m. Downtown Falmouth, Falmouth's Christmas Festival.

CALENDER STAPLE events

The Safe Haven Baby Box is located at ambulance headquarters at 332 HWY 330W, Falmouth. The box is available for any parent in crisis who needs to give up his/her/their baby, but does not know where to turn. The box holds babies up to approximately one month old, and it is available and monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Parents who drop off infants will remain anonymous and will not face prosecution. They are giving their child a chance they may not be able to give on their own.

Parents in crisis may also call 1-800-99BABY1 (1-800-992-2291) any time, 24/7, for assistance.

New Life Wesleyan Church, 420 Monument Street, Falmouth, serves a free breakfast each Sunday morning from 8:15-9:45 a.m.

Free day at Rumpke Landfill takes place the second Saturday of each month 7-11 a.m.

Commodities distributed the second Monday of the month at 200 West Shelby Street, Falmouth from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. These commodities are different than other food distributions held in the county, and you may participate if you are involved with other distributions in the county. Please bring your own bags or boxes.

PC Mobile Food Pantry’s Food for Friends. Third Thursday from 2-4 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Parish Hall, Bring ID identifying your residence in the county.

Pendleton County Historical and Genealogical Society meets every third Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Historical Society, the Fryer House, in Butler.

Every Monday and Tuesday, hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Each Tuesday, 6:30 p.m., Bible study and supper. (Study begins at 7 p.m.) 

Second and fourth Wednesday of each month starting at approximately 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (or until produce is gone.) This distribution focuses on fresh produce AND MORE. Food pantry and clothes shopping available.

Every Thursday by appointment.
