Three 2023 Seniors received scholarships and came to the Falmouth Rotary Club to thank the club and to report on their future plans.

Anna Redden was awarded the Kevin Todd Collins Scholarship. She will be attending Western Kentucky University to pursue a degree in Public Relations and Non-Profit Management. She attended Honors College at WKU. While in high school, Redden was active in the Student Technology and Leadership Club, Drama, Spanish, Book, and SCUBA clubs, Student Council, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Library Council, and the Kentucky United Nations Assembly, all while maintaining a 3.857 GPA and working for The Falmouth Outlook. Redden was inspired in her career path by her cousin Michelle Blau, who is a labor organizer and professional advocate.

Autumn Gilbert will be continuing her education at Northern Ky. University, studying to become a teacher. She hopes to teach 2nd or 3rd grade after completing college. At Pendleton, Gilbert was active in the Book Club, Student Council, National Honor Society, Senior Council, FBLA, Library Council and Upward Bound. She also worked parttime and maintained a 3.692 GPA. Gilbert received one of the Rotary Scholarships.

The other Rotary Scholarship was awarded to Tieyanna Roark. She will be studying psychology at Eastern Ky. University. Roark maintained a 3.0 GPA and was active in FCCLA, NKYAB, Student Council, Spanish Club, Gear Up, and Senior Council. She also held a parttime job.

All three young ladies held leadership roles in various clubs. The Falmouth Rotary Club wishes them best of luck in their future endeavors. The Club is grateful to all the community members who support the scholarship fund through donations. Without community support, the scholarships would not be possible. They would also like to thank Dr. Owen and Janice Collins for their continual support in establishing and maintaining the Kevin Todd Collins Memorial Scholarship.
