When I Walk in the Woods
When I walk in the woods
I hear the beautiful chirps of birds,
The sound of the wind rustling the leaves
And flowing water splashing up against rocks.

When I walk in the woods
I find all kinds of rocks,
Lots of bones, some big, some small,
And sometimes I find dilapidated barns and shacks.

When I walk in the woods
I see big, tall trees and little bushes,
A couple of bashful deer grazing
And quick, little squirrels running in the trees.

When I walk in the woods,
I feel mighty happy.
I especially love sitting by the creek.
When I’m finished with my walk it feels like it was worth it.
Walking in the woods is a fun thing to do.
