Welcome Derek Brown, as the newest School Board Member

The Pendleton County School Board called a special board meeting on the evening of February 28th to go into Executive Session per KRS 61.810 (1)f for the purpose of having a discussion which might lead to an appointment of an individual as a member of the School Board, filling the position left open by resignation of Karen Delaney.
After a brief closed Executive Session, the board returned with a unanimous vote in favor of appointing Derek Brown as the newest Pendleton County School Board member, effective immediately.
Brown is a former student of Pendleton County who makes his home in the county where he resides on the eastern side with his wife, Heather and two sons, Bryant (15) and Brantley (11).
