This week’s message was on “Encouragement.” Text was from 2 Corinthians 7:4-13. When we come to church we don’t always know what someone else may be going through. We need someone who understands to talk to and encourage us because they too have been through hard times. However, when no one else is there God is and His word will encourage us. What does kindness cost? Nothing. Let’s make it a goal this week to encourage someone who needs it.

Remember the families of Glen Thacker, Brenda Wells, Rick Angel, Donnie Cole and Geneva Jones Roark. Have a blessed week.

Butler Christ Community

Greetings friends, we here at BCCC pray that you are well with the Lord.

Pastor Ron spoke to us on Sunday concerning another covenant that He made, not to all mankind, but to one man, Abraham. God promised him that he would make a nation from him. (And He did.)

Getting ready for Easter: on the 24th we will celebrate Psalm Sunday; at 1 p.m on the 29th, the Pendleton County Co-Op of Churches will hold a Good Friday service at the Falmouth Baptist Church; on the 31st we will celebrate our Risen Savior with Easter service at 11 a.m.

Pastor Ron will begin his monthly service at River Valley on March 17 at 2 p.m.

The ladies will have their meeting at church on March 15.

Please pray with us for all our folks who are sad, grieving, hurting, lost, or who don’t know the Lord.

God bless you.

New Life Wesleyan

We're looking ahead to Easter and inviting everyone in Pendleton County to the Pendleton County Cooperative of Churches Annual Good Friday Service.  It will be held at 1 p.m. on March 29 at Falmouth Baptist Church. Bro. Evan Williams will be preaching.  Burton Cole will be singing. Mark your calendars now!

Also, our Easter Sunday morning worship will be at 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome. Worship Jesus and seek Him during this Easter season!

Oakland

The sermon title was "Who Is This Jesus?"  History confirms that Jesus was a historical person.  The empire of Rome qualifies the existence of Jesus.  Jesus is REAL!

Remember to set your clocks AHEAD on March 9 (Saturday night) as Daylight Savings Time begins.

A side note here:  Plan to see the movie "Ordinary Angels" -- a "clean" true story about a Kentucky family whose child needed a transplant.  It demonstrates the grace and love of God's people.

Prayer concerns include Bobby Johnson, Jeanine Cox, Susie Colemire Adams, Ernie Richie, Diane Moorhead, Bill Ice, Jay Caldwell, Bobby Simpson, Julie Sandy, Ricky Gillespie, Jean Chambers, Connie Jenkins, Charles Klaber, Kent Galloway, our shut-ins, cancer/covid concerns, our nation and its military.

Our sympathy goes to the loved ones of Carol Houchen, Brenda Wells, Paul Klee, Sr., Donald Cole, and Rickie Angell.

Turner Ridge

This month our special offering has been for Sunrise Children’s Home and our focus has been on the needs of children, both physical and spiritual. Bro. Dale’s messages have focused on the needs of children, and the responsibility we have, to make sure they hear about Jesus. “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6.

We were blessed to have testimony by Vaughn and Shelli Beighle this past Sunday; they have been foster parents, and have adopted six of the children they fostered.  We can’t all open our homes to children in need, but we can always pray for children everywhere and for every circumstance.

“But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14.
