The text today was from Matthew 9:20-22. This text talked about the unclean woman who had spent all she had to be cured without results. She had the faith to know if she could just touch Jesus' garment she would be healed. And she was. If we have that kind of faith Jesus will allow wonderful things to happen in your life.

Remember the families of Cecil Jones, Pam Cummins, Betty Nichols, and Larry Winkle.

Bro. Mark’s message was from Daniel 6.

Daniel was one of three that could administer the Kingdom.  The King began thinking of placing Daniel over the entire empire, which made the other two jealous. They searched for fault with Daniel, but he was honest, faithful and made no mistakes. So they concluded, his religion is what they would use against him. Three times a day Daniel prayed. This went against the decree the King signed because the other two tricked him.  Did Daniel know that he would be a dead man for praying? Wonder what that prayer was about?  His usual prayer was to give thanks to his God. That same God is ours too. Do you give thanks three times a day?  We know the rest of the story….lions' den…..walked out safe all because he was faithful to God. The story wasn’t so good for the other two.

Caution, False Teachers Ahead was the topic of the children’s message. “… Watch out that no one deceives you. Many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and will deceive many. “ Mark 13:5-6

The praise team opened our worship service and Art Wiggins brought special music. Asia Beighle read scripture, Galatians 5:16-18. Our Walk was the message from Ephesians 5:15-17; the basics are: Walk Carefully, Walk Wisely, Walk in Redemption, Walk in the Will of the Lord. “The Lord is … not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9.

If you would like to learn more about walking with the Lord, join us on Sundays at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 6 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
