Scripture was taken from Mark 9:14-41. Jesus healed the boy with the mute spirit and taught the father that if you believe in Christ, all things are possible. The church is made up of two groups. The seekers, those who come to seek God through music and worship and service, and the bystanders. Those who sit in the pews week to week, but don’t get involved in the church's service to God. Which are you, the seeker or the bystander? There is always work to do for the Lord. God Bless.

Butler Christ Community

Greetings friends, are you feeling the love of God in your heart? If not join us for service here at BCCC at 11 a.m. each Sunday morning. Can’t make it in person? View Pastor Ron on Facebook.

Pastor Ron spoke to us about what the scriptures tell us in Matthew 18. Part of the message said that as a Christian you cannot do what you want in this world, you must repent.

Bible study will be starting September 20th. We will be studying the book of Daniel. We hope you can come!

On October 2nd the Mt. Mission truck will be here to pick up our donated items.

The adults will be having a fun evening on October 13th, enjoying game night.

Please pray for those on our prayer list, all those suffering, lonely , sad, or lost.

God be with you to bless and keep you in His love.

Pray with passion, make good choices, study God’s word, fellowship with other Christians. That was the content of our class Sunday morning as we had donuts, coffee, and Jesus to start out our day of worship. Join us next Sunday at 10 a.m.

The children’s message held the lyrics to a precious song, all kids should hear:

O Be Careful, Little Eyes. If you shouldn’t see, close your eyes; if you shouldn’t hear, walk away; But once you say it you can’t take it away! To be our best, be careful with your words.

The morning message was on teaching, from 2 Timothy 2:1-4. Teachers are given a large responsibility, they must teach the truth, “… knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.” James 3:1

The evening service, held on the bank of the Licking River at the Gravett Farm, was a blessing for everyone in attendance! Bro. Dale had a great message on baptism and the discipleship that needs to follow. At the end of the message, one came forward with a profession of faith, followed by the river baptisms, eight in all! Afterwards, we fellowshipped and enjoyed a delicious picnic supper.
