A cancellation of the Harrison County meet sent Pendleton County Archery Head Coach David Myers scrambling to find a place for his archers to shoot on Saturday.
He was able to find openings with the high school team heading to Williamstown while the middle school team shot at Calvary Christian.
The high school archers combined for a team score of 3,087 for a third place finish with Junior Jacob Baird leading the way with a 273 score, placing him 10th among high school boys. Sara Zumwalt finished with a 270, which was seventh among high school girls.
Other top scores for the PCHS team were Bradie Lovelace, 262, Adam Derico, 260, Rylan Rhoton, 258, Elizabeth Sullivan, 257, and Sophey Dalton 257.
The middle school team was the only middle school team shooting at Calvary Christian.
Dylan Bramley tallied the high school for Sharp with a 276 while Lily Rice shot a 254.
