The Ladycats ended their regular season with a win over Owen County. The game was competitive, but never in doubt as the Ladycats took both sets 25-16, 25-20.
Addyson Crouch led the team with seven kills, six blocks, and two aces. Her teammates Katelin Aulick, 13 aces and five kills, and Allison Aulick, nine kills and five aces, helped propel the Ladycats to their 11th win of the season.
Early last week the Ladycats traveled to Mason County to take on  St. Patrick. Coach French mentioned last week that this would be a hard fought contest and she was correct as the teams spilt the first two sets and fought right to the end in the deciding third set with St. Pat pulling out the win. 25-14, 14-25, 24-26
Another strong game for backline player Olivia Verst who recorded 42 digs. Allison Aulick added 14 kills and seven aces while Emma Reid had 10 kills of her own.
The Ladycats now head into district play on Tuesday, October 20 against Nicholas County. The game will be held at Pendleton County starting at 6:30.
In talking about the upcoming game Coach French said of her team, “We need to continue our solid serving and defense to win this game.”
