The Pendleton County Ladycats Golf team is closing their season on a high note as the girls scored a match win over Campbell County and performed well at the Camacho Classic.

On September 6, the girls scored a 129-166 match win against Campbell County at Pendleton Hills. Senior Katie Wright took medalist honors and she shot a team-best 42 on the day. Fellow senior Reese Barlow fired a 43 and freshman Taylor Bruener turned in 44 to round out the Pendleton County scoring.

On September 9, the ladies traveled to Grant County to participate in the Marcus Camacho Classic. The Ladycats trio would compete individually and Reese Barlow continued her season-long impressive play shooting a 77 that would be good for fourth place overall out of 68 competitors. This would be her seventh top 10 finish of the season and she officially earned enough points to qualify for the upcoming All-State play held at the University Club at Kentucky. Katie Wright finished with an 88 and Bruener scored a 102 at the event.

"We're so proud of Reese for accomplishing this goal," said Ladycats head coach Rob Bertram . "Emilie Bertram was the first and last Ladycat to compete in this event. I specifically added the girls in four more tournaments this season in an effort to try and get one or more of them there. Reese has had an outstanding senior season."
