Body

Janet Waliczek went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 13, 2024. She is now reunited with her loving husband, David Waliczek, son John Steven Presser, and beloved dog, Pedro.

She was born in California, KY on June 17, 1942, to the late John and Lillian (Hanna) Nelson and lived her adult life in Crestview, KY. Janet was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved and cared about her family until the end. She retired from Disabled American Veterans, where she worked for 33 years. Janet could be found watching for hummingbirds out her window (along with the neighborhood happenings) and nurturing her garden and flowers. She loved cooking and baking and sharing that love through her food with everyone. She hid candy for her great-grandchildren to find and blew kisses from the door every time they left.

Aside from her husband, son, and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Clarence (Doris) Nelson, Harold (Joan) Nelson, Carroll (Carolyn) Nelson, Buddy (Karen) Nelson and sister, Donna Mae (Kenny) Carson.

She is survived by her brother, Lynn (Donna) Nelson; children, Jill (Ray) Beetem, Greg (Judy) Presser, and Todd (Leah) Presser; grandchildren, Sarah (Matt) Nelson, Jennifer (Justin) Feebeck, Rachel (Larry) Whalen, Derek (Ashley) Presser, and Rob Donohoe; and great-grandchildren, Layne, Grayson, Knox, and Crew Nelson, Josie and Jolie Feebeck, Emma and Landon Whalen, and Evelyn and Steven Presser.

Visitation will take place from 10 a.m to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19 at Alexandria Funeral Home, with a service to immediately follow.

Interment will take place at St Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas, KY after the service.

Memorials can be made to Plum Creek Christian Church Food Share, 961 Nagel Road, Butler, KY 41006.
