Falmouth — Brenda Sue Booher, 75, of Falmouth, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at her daughter’s home.
Born on July 5, 1950 in Corinth, she was a daughter of Doris Hammons Carr and the late John I Carr.
On November 18, 1967 she married Lynn Booher and he preceded her in death on December 13, 2019.
She was a former member of the Turner Ridge Baptist Church and was currently a member of the Blanket Creek Baptist Church. She was a 20 member of the leader for the American Red Cross. Brenda enjoyed traveling, sitting on the beach, eating crab legs, and most of all spending every minute possible with her family.
She is survived by four children, Susan (Kenny) Gibson, Sherri (Darrell) Dixon, April (Dave) Shaw, Shawn (April) Booher; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; four siblings, twin sister, Linda Porter, Jackie (Stuart) Stephens, Johnny Ray (Evelyn) Carr, and Steve (Vicky) Carr.
Services were held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at Woodhead Funeral Home, in Falmouth with Bro. Dale Beighle officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Christopher Scroggins, Aaron Benavidez, Adrian Benevidez, Brendan Gibson, Shawn (Bub) Booher Jr, and Will Booher. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters, Chelsie, Jenn, Allie, Aelysia, and Amber.
Burial took place at Turner Ridge Cemetery.
