UPDATED: Hard Winds blow Through

Roads closed to down trees, electric off, houses and barns sustain major damage.

Owen County has the electric back on in many areas.

PC Emergency Management provided a generator to East Pendleton Water District to keep the water flowing to customers when the electric went out.

Roads are back open and homeowners And farmers are cleaning up and assessing the damage.

Hard straight line winds blew through Pendleton County on Wednesday afternoon causing much damage.

Reports had roofs off of home, barns collapsed, trees down causing closed roads and lots of siding off of homes.

A piece of metal siding became a projectile blown by the strong winds and buried 2 feet deep in Marvin Dawson’s building that had its roof blown off in the last storm.
