Storage unit explosion

A man living at Hi & Dry Storage along U.S. High 27, south of Falmouth, suffered burns Saturday night after an explosion and fire. Pendleton County reported that the man was burned over 40 to 50 percent of his body, and was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Two firefighters also were injured, one with a cut finger and the other with smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Firefighters from departments from in Harrison and Pendleton counties among those responding, and traffic on U.S. 27 was blocked while firefighters worked the blaze.
