Johnson feels she brings a new view with no hidden agenda

Dear Editor:
    
    We certainly can’t move forward without making change and we can’t make progress without doing something different.  I feel that the fact that I did not grow up here and I have lived in other areas allows me to bring in a new view.  I have no hidden agenda for running for city council other than I’d like to create a community that everyone is proud of.   We have a lot to do and with your help, it can happen.  
    Two years into a seat on council is not long enough to learn all the ropes and make a real difference.  I was told that by someone who was on council for years.  That conversation stuck with me and is what convinced me to run again this year.
    With my background in healthcare, I will continue to advocate for your health and safety during this pandemic as we move forward toward the election.  Unfortunately, it is not wise to come and shake your hand or do traditional campaigning.  Therefore, this is my attempt to ask for your vote.  Thank you all for allowing me to serve you.  Please stay safe.
