Even though 54 absentee ballots are outstanding, there is not expected to be one returned that will be from the Butler district. If that holds true and no absentee ballot voting on the Butler City Council comes into Rita Spencer's office by Friday, November 6 with a Tuesday, November 3 post marked, Bonita Bonar and Alice Smith will be tied at 65 votes.

At 4 p.m. on Friday, November 6, one of the two will call heads or tails and a flip of the coin will decide the sixth and final member of the Butler City Council.

Paul Vanlandingham was the only candidate to receive triple digit in vote total with an even 100 votes.

Mason Taylor received 97 votes with Pat Taylor receiving 88 votes.

Terry "Murrell" Bush had 77 votes and Teresa Antrobus with 71 votes.

Those five are incumbents and will return to council.
