New Year’s Resolutions for Seniors

Resolutions can be made at any age. Seniors who may feel that they are past the point in life where trying something new or setting goals is relevant to them can reconsider, as it’s never too late in life to have aspirations big or small.

By Burton W. Cole, Columnist It's the most annoying time of the year. With kids jingle-belling and everyone telling you, “Eat another one. It's Christmas!” Yes, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas parties.

KRT presents A Christmas Carol with a Country Spin!

Coralleen Rue Richards Karlin-Bennett, 74

Coralleen “Corky” Rue (Richards) Karlin-Bennett, 74, passed away at her home on August 17, 2022, in Farmington, NM surrounded by her dogs following a long battle with cancer. Corky was born in East Liverpool, Columbiana, OH on March 26, 1948.

Citizens speak on trash pickup

Dear Editor     On May 15, the Pendleton County baseball team picked up trash on Route 10 from the county line to 159 and down Route 159 to Davis Rd. In all we found 17 bags of trash. I would like to thank 22 players and the parents and coaches that helped.  Please remember, do not litter.
