25 Years Ago - April 18- 25, 1995     Kentucky Wool Festival Quilt Block Contest: Entries will be on display during the festival October 6, 7, and 8. A cash award will be awarded for 12 quilt blocks chosen to be in quilt and become property of the KY Wool Festival.

25 Years Ago -April 11, 1995     Former UK Coach Joe B. Hall coming to Wyatt’s Super Valu. The public can come and have lunch with the former coach courtesy of Webber Farms.     John L. Griffin, founder of Griffin Industries passes.

25 Years Ago -March 28- April 4, 1995     “Wanted” Wyatt’s Super Valu requests all former employees to help us celebrate our “50th Anniversary” Starting April 2 and continuing throughout the summer of ‘95. Come in say “hello” and sign the guestbook.     Tree planted in memory of Gearin Brown.

25 Years Ago -March 21, 1995         Phone customers can choose to have extended phone service. Residents that were upset over being forced to take the extended telephone service proposed by Cincinnati Bell can breathe easy. The extended service will be offered on an optional basis.
